Long horn
steer head (horns are about 8” tip to tip) door or gate pull handle is made
of ½” square stock twisted for a decorative look, 1 3/4” hand space, mounted
on a heavy 12” long 3/16 by 1 1/2” back plate with 2-¼”holes for mounting
with ¼” bolts or lag screws. The Long horn steer head is hand forged and
welded on to the back plate using hidden welds so no one can see them. The
back plate has a hammered edge for an old time rustic look.
Treated
with a traditional linseed oil, turpentine and bees wax finish to help
prevent rust and give them a dark lustrous finish.
